Little Slocan Lodge is a character, off-grid, strawbale eco-lodge. It is open from May 1 until October 31.

New for 2008 - we are evolving into a retreat center - a gathering place for groups to meet, celebrate, share and experience. Through their support, community interest groups, local residents and regional visitors have shown us that this is the role they want the lodge to play in our community.

Little Slocan Lodge will no longer be operating as a hostel or country inn. We therefore do not offer individual rooms, dorm beds or camping sites, but rather rent the lodge and camping grounds as a whole facility to groups.

We are pleased to renew ourselves as a wonderful venue for art, music, yoga, education, weddings, conferences, workshops, bicycle tours and the like. Most importantly, we offer a peaceful place to connect with the great outdoors.

There is room for 21 overnight guests in 5 rooms inside the lodge, with a guest kitchen, large outdoor deck and rustic camping area. It’s perfect for small to medium-sized groups (max. 100 people).

Located on 240 beautiful acres bordering Valhalla Provincial Park near Slocan, the lodge is an hour away from Nelson, in British Columbia’s southern interior.
